In addition to the high ratings from the IIHS, the new Mazda6 has also received high ratings from the NHTSA as well. The Mazda6 overall NHTSA safety rating is a perfect 5-star rating. This sedan also received a 5-star rating for front and side crash tests and a 4-star rating for the rollover crash test.
