Mazda6 Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Rating

The new Mazda6 received a “Top Safety Pick” rating from the IIHS, including a “Good+” score for child seat anchors ease of use, a “Superior” for front crash prevention, and a “Good” score in these crashworthiness areas:

Mazda6 National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Rating

In addition to the high ratings from the IIHS, the new Mazda6 has also received high ratings from the NHTSA as well. The Mazda6 overall NHTSA safety rating is a perfect 5-star rating. This sedan also received a 5-star rating for front and side crash tests and a 4-star rating for the rollover crash test.
