MAZDA Maintenance Schedules

MAZDA Maintenance: MAZDA3 Maintenance Schedule
The Mazda3 maintenance schedule is as follows:
- Annually: Disc brakes
- 2 Years: Fuel lines/hoses, brake lines, hoses, and connections, steering operation, front and rear suspension, driveshaft dust boost, tighten bolts/nuts, chassis and body
- 3 Years: Drive belts
- 4 Years: Hoses and tubes for emission and exhaust system and heat shields
- “Flexible” oil change monitor setting: Replace the oil, cabin filter, and air filter when the wrench light appears (Range is 12 months / 10,000 miles).
- “Fixed” oil change monitor setting: Replace the oil every 6 months, and replace the air filter at 30 months and the cabin air filter every two years.
- Engine coolant: Perform this task every 120,000 miles / 10 years or 60,000 miles / 4 years based on the coolant type. After the first replacement, change at 60,000 miles / 5 years and 60,000 miles / 4 years, respectively.
- Tire rotation: 5,000 miles
- Spark plugs: 75,000 miles
MAZDA Maintenance: MAZDA6 Maintenance Schedule
There are some distinct maintenance needs for the Mazda6. The Mazda6 maintenance schedule is as follows:
- Follow the Mazda3 schedule for yearly, bi-yearly, and three-year maintenance needs.
- Annually: Flat tire repair kit (if applicable)
- 2 Years: Cabin air filters
- 3 Years: Replace air filter
- 4 Years: Hoses and tubes for emission
- 5 Years: Exhaust system and heat shields
- Engine oil and filter: Replace when the wrench light appears. Max range is 12 months / 7,500 miles.
- Engine coolant: Perform this task every 120,000 miles / 10 years and at 60,000 miles / 5 years after the first replacement.
- Replace spark plugs with SKYACTIV®-G 2.5 every 75,000 miles, and every 40,000 miles with SKYACTIV®-G 2.5T.
- Tire rotation: 7,500 miles
MAZDA Maintenance: MAZDA CX-5 Maintenance Schedule
The Mazda CX-5 maintenance schedule is as follows:
- Follow the Mazda6 schedule, with a few exceptions.
- Replace spark plugs with SKYACTIV®-G 2.5T every 40,000 miles and every 75,000 miles on other trims.
