10 Mazda Cars Planned for Tokyo Auto Show

Japanese auto maker MAZDA is gearing up for the Tokyo Auto Salon, similar to the SEMA show in Las Vegas. This year's will feature not one, not two, but TEN tuned models and concepts from the company.

"Mazda will showcase a full range of customized cars, including special editions of the new CX-5, roadster and RX-8," according to Inside Line.1

One of the most anticipated vehicles coming to Tokyo from MAZDA is their CX-5 crossover. Before it enters the lots at Tulley Mazda located at 147 Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua, CX-5 will show off its unique crossover design, along with a special edition low-rider version with matte-black alloy wheelset. CX-5 will also make an appearance at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, before coming to dealer lots in February.

Another vehicle hitting the salons' floors is the next-gen MAZDA2. A regular, Sport and SkyActiv version will be present. In fact, MAZDA can't wait to show off their SkyActiv engine concept, which plans on becoming standard in most models by 2013.

Other vehicles coming to Tokyo include RX-8 Spirit R, an updated Mazda Roadster Black Tuned, and tuned versions of MAZDA3 and MAZDA5.
