The MAZDA6, available now at Tulley Mazda in Nashua, NH has always been a well-selling model. But due to recent additions to the line up, and less then stellar sales of the 6 in recent months, the car is in danger of being discontinued in the United States.

The majority of Mazda's US production is still accounted for by Mazda6, which is built alongside Fords at a shared Flat Rock, MI plant. AutoWeek's Hans Greiml reports that the Nikkan Kogyo newspaper believes Mazda could be looking to pull out from Flat Rock.

Mazda Creating US Only Division

Mazda is already a very popular brand in the United States, with sales of the MAZDA 3 already high at Tulley Mazda in Nashua, NH. But the Japanese auto maker is going to begin focusing even more on the American car buyer.

Mazda North American Operations announced it has gone in-house to find a senior VP for its US operations group. This team will focus solely on the United States car buyer.

Robert Davis, former senior vice president of research and development, customer service operations and quality, was chosen for the new position. He will report to Jim O'Sullivan…
